Who we are

Peace Loaf Co. is a family-run food business based in Maple Valley, WA, founded by husband-and-wife duo Emilia and David George. It began May 2025 with small-batch focaccia and chocolate chip cookies and has grown into a community-driven business rooted in simple, thoughtfully made food and quality ingredients.

Pizza has always been more than food for us. For David, it’s rooted in the weekly ritual—meeting friends, gathering with family, and neighborhood pizza spots that become part of everyday life. Growing up just outside of New Haven, Connecticut, pizza was simple, honest, and deeply tied to community. That influence carries into the New England–style pizza we make today—uncomplicated, ingredient-focused, and meant to be shared. It’s the feeling we’ve always wanted to bring to Maple Valley.

Starting in May 2026, we are expanding our menu of offerings to include pizza by the slice alongside our focaccia, cookies, and other baked goods. As we step into this next chapter, we remain committed to sourcing locally and working with producers across the Pacific Northwest to bring thoughtful, high-quality ingredients into everything we make.
